Lisa Karen

I am excited to announce that Naifeh Fine Jewelry will be representing a new line of vermeil jewelry, Lisa Karen, created by two friends of mine, Lisa Blair and Karen Chaudry! Karen has been "beading" for a number of years, but several years ago the two partnered and took their ideas to the next level, creating an affordable, gorgeous collection of Moghul-inspired jewelry.

The girls have learned some of the pitfalls of working with overseas manufacturers, but the wait will be worth it! Vermeil is 18kt yellow gold that is plated over sterling or "fine" silver. What sets this collection apart is the quality and thickness of the plating. You won't want to miss the trunk show and kick-off party Wednesday, April 14th from noon - 7pm!

Repair, Restyle or Get Rid of It!

If you are on our mailing list or receive our emails, then you know it's time for our 3rd Annual Repair/Restyle Event! This popular promotion only comes around once a year, and for a very limited time. But here's a secret: since I'm posting the event on my blog, you too can take advantage of 15% off any and all of your jewelry projects now through May by just mentioning the promotion to me or my staff.
You may not know it, but we're known at Naifeh Fine Jewelry for our superior custom design and repair work. And we never, NEVER discount these services except during spring break and tax season!
Featured here is a gorgeous, antique platinum broach that was busted apart years ago for the center diamond. The clients came to me last year and asked me to reassemble it, add some additional, smaller stones, and somehow make part of it function as a clasp for a strand of pearls. As you can see, the result is a stunning, re-configured broach that also comes apart to work as a clasp OR as a pendant (not shown). Grab your broken, old, or tired looking jewels today and let's get your Bling back on!

Perfect Proposal Prize Packages!

Each of our 2010 Perfect Proposal Winners picked up their prize packages last Friday, and it was great to have both couples in my store! Myrla and Gary Pierson will be headed to The Boulevard restaurant sometime in the near future with transportation courtesy of King's Limo Service. Hallie Moore and Chase Vincent, our engaged couple, will dine at Mahogany Prime Steakhouse with limo service as well, and their wedding will receive a complimentary page in The Bride's of Oklahoma Magazine (the exact wedding date hasn't been determined, so don't look for it in the next issue, but perhaps in 2011!).

The two couples were surprised and tickled to win: Myrla is now sporting an 18kt white gold and diamond necklace by Charriol and Hallie is wearing an infinity symbol pendant with two, round diamonds totaling 1.00cts. Congratulations to you both, and have fun at your photography session with Eric Gfeller.

If you know of anyone with a great proposal story, encourage them to enter next year's contest, beginning in January of 2011!
