Eat a Taco, Touch the Truck!
Today and Tomorrow!
Casady Square merchants are donating 10% of their gross sales today and tomorrow to raise money for repairs to the hydraulic boom on the Village's only ladder truck.
On Saturday, the Odelay Taco Truck will be in the Casady Square parking lot from 11am- 4:30pm and the ladder truck will be here both days! Village firemen will be handing out goodies for the kids.
Bring your kids, eat a taco, shop in the Square and let's get the fire truck repaired!

Jennifer is a Winner!
Congratulations to Jennifer Duell, winner of the Oklahoma Jeweler's Association 2010 Design Contest! Jennifer has worked for me for 4 1/2 years, and I'm thrilled that her entry was chosen at this year's conference as "Best of Show!" As the statewide winner, her earrings are now eligible for entry into the 2011 Jeweler's of America National Competition and will be exhibited at the JA Show in New York City in January! If she wins there, she will receive national recognition in several trade publications and more!
For the competition, Jennifer designed a pair of Tahitian Pearl earrings in 18kt white gold, featuring diamonds, and pink sapphires which are bead set in the front and on the profile.
I'm proud to have Jennifer designing and working with me here at the store. For those of you who have worked with her, you know how good she is! Be sure to congratulate her the next time you see her!

Hollywood Rocks with Naifeh Fine Jewelry!
Special thanks go to my friends, Linda Trippe (not of Bill Clinton fame!) and Renee Knox, for introducing the cast and crew of Bringing Up Bobby to my store! Director, writer & actress Famke Janssen decided to film her original screenplay in Oklahoma City, and Naifeh Fine Jewelry provided jewelry for many of the scenes, some of which were shot right across the street at Casady School.
Marcia Cross, of Desperate Housewives fame, stars with Milla Jovovich and Bill Pullman. Marcia liked some of the pieces she saw on set so much that she made the trip to my store and purchased items for crew members as well as herself. Marcia purchased several bands from Sylva et Cie, pictured here as well as Emily Armenta.
Executive producer, Renee Knox, purchased Emily Armenta for Milla Jovovich, who employed Renee's daughter during the shoot this summer. Other favorites that went out the door with Marcia and her best friend were diamond studs and a one of a kind carved quartz pendant & necklace in 22kt yellow gold designed by me.
Having a bit of Hollywood here in OKC was fun for many of my friends this summer, including David and Maryann Johndrow, who also served as executive producers for the film. David and Maryann hosted Milla Jovovich and others at the kickoff party on Lake Hefner which featured wines from Johndrow Vineyards.
